Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q : I'm worried about my writing. Is this place a serious place?

    • A : Nope. Though it's fun to have character development and all, we really don't put emphasis on how well you can write here, as long as you have the imagination to go along with the AU.

  • Q : Some listed star children have been in the dorms since 2010. Why did they sign a contract as a minor?

    • A : Minor star children are only given a shelter in the dormitory, but they /will/ eventually be offered the contract when they are of age. Most of the said minors tend to have guardians (staff or ex staff from the HQ) or was scouted by the said staff or ex staff as well, so they were not actually /alone/ and unguarded. Although, once they are of age, they are no longer obliged to stay with their guardians.

  • Q : Are ordinary people aware of star children's existence?

    • A : Assuming the orphanage made it to the news, they obviously are. It's up to your character whether they want to disclose their special status to the public or not. Considering the past, most of ordinary citizens are neutral towards star children.

  • Q : How do ordinary people not know about the dark hour?

    • A : Non star children (if they are in the Micronation) turn into coffins during the dark hour. Plus, the contract is there to keep the privacy of Kirijo Group's research.

  • Q : What are the classes for?

    • A : They are merely for classification and nothing else.

  • Q : What language do people speak in Celestial Micronation?

    • A : Celestial Micronation is considered a part of South Korea in the AU, so the "official language" is Korean! But because of the residents' different origins, English is the one most commonly used. NPC staffs from Kirijo group are mostly bilingual in Korean and Japanese.

  • Q : Are the guides everything that we can have? Can I have more abilities that relate to my character's sun-moon combinations?

    • A : The guides are lists of what all star children have in common in terms of abilities, based on their sun-moon combinations. If you have more abilities to add that aren't listed there, they are included as 'distinguish abilities' (which are completely optional)!

  • Q : I'm worried I might be overpowering my character. To what extent is 'overpowering'?

    • A : They can have up to 10 abilities, as stated in 'building your character'. The chosen distinguish abilities don't matter as long as they are not one of those excessively strong abilities like universe manipulation, time travel, etc. Worry not, you can always consult with the admins!

  • Q : Would it be alright if my character's distinguish abilities relate more to what other classes have instead of theirs?

    • A : That's absolutely fine, but they will definitely be weaker than the original owners'. For example, Apollo and Artemis in our roleplay are capable of performing charmspeak - but their charmspeak will never reach half the level of those who are naturally born with it!

  • Q : Why did they abolish the class system for the dorms?

    • A : IC wise: Declining numbers of residents overtime becoming too much of a demanding financial burden for maintenance of unoccupied and wasted spaces, so they limited it altogether

  • Q : Can my character's background relate to the Kirijo Group or one of the Micronation's founding staffs?

    • A : Sure, it can. Just don't forget to consult with the admins first to have proper discussion so nothing clashes without us knowing. We'll be considerate if it's not too direct of a connection so it doesn't interrupt anything too much
